“Absence of Joyce” Depart from me oh lonely heart, you have tortured me enough. Wipe away the image of this girl I’m thinking of. You know I can not have her, why do you persist, To bring upon the longing for her one and only kiss? Am I different from all the others who must have felt this way? Is it possible for me to make the stars of heaven stay? Inebriation overtakes me when I hear her lovely voice Sobriety consumes me with the absence of Joyce |

Lots of feeling from the heart in your lines! I read it twice to better appreciate your word usage. Thank you |

Thank you grain of sand for your comments. I admit it's pretty rough around the edges, I believe I'll tweak it once inspired. samsonheart |
