Cupid’s Christmas Gift

When least expected Cupid shot his dart
To fin’lly exile echoes of the past
My tilts at windmills, tearing up my heart
Rememb’ring pain my mind so long harrassed

His love like sunshine from behind a cloud
A rainbow’s gift upon a dreary day
Declaring universal love aloud
A single tear to cleanse the past away

As touched by Angel’s wings is how I feel
Embraced by love so true and real by he
My spirit wanders free, my soul will heal
The love of God lies in the depth of me.

A new beginning, Christmas will somehow
be better yearly, we’re a fam’ly now.

Enchanting, Munda. And where have you been? I do believe your work has been missed here!

HUGE grins ...

Munda, this is absolutely lovely -- I am so honored that you wrote it at my request.  I agree with Nan -- but is there anything better than an "A?"
