         She calls to me

Omnipresence in mornings mist.
Plays like notes of a flautist.
Permeating all that stir,
Like frankincense and myrrh.

Painting my mind with willows brush,
Stroking my heart with recall touch.
Wafting me in a phantoms flair,
Embracing me in fragrant air.

Dancing under my eye lids,
Shadows on a blood red grid.
Irradiating moon light streams,
Coloring through a torrid dream.

Her movements a mesmeric dance
I watch it, transfixed in trance.
And wonder at this visions goal,
Burning in my aching soul.

Does she call me in genteel?
In the softness of conceal?
This I plead, in my persist.
Till the sun dries up the mist.

Do I wait, another phase,
Till I meet her in the haze?

He Calls To Me

He calls to me in haunting words
Revealed in rhythmic poetry
And in the stars so late at night
Placed on display for me to see

He calls to me in open skies
Where clouds are laced in fields of blue
And from the depths of misty dreams
Where once again we are us two

He calls to me in music notes
In the depth of treble cleft
And even now I hear his voice
Calling like he never left

Oh, he calls to me, and I call too
The only difference being
In my longing, I picture him
In his, it's her he's seeing

Sy,
The poet paints with willows brush.
And the readers sit in silent hush
Consuming the beauty of his words
Of heartfelt songs til now unheard
A lovely poem upon the screen
To many eyes remains unseen
So hopfully this poet will look
At the prospects of a published book
With autographed copies to all the Passionate Poets!
Love ya,
Liz

Sy - some conflict going on here.

Fantastically written and I will be fighting to get in the line for an autographed copy. Actually I probably won't - you'll have to mail me one!!!

Ruth - your poem was lovely.

Hoot,
Your poem has touched me tender.
So full of words of splendor.
You have a talent I admire,
That any male would inpire.
*L* Sy

Elizabeth,
Your loving words and clever wit,
Has thrown my wife into a fit.
For she too nags me into look
The possibility of a book.
But I for one fail to see,
The amateur that I be.
In the sea of professionals
With poetry two-dimensional.
I love you for your sweet medallion.
It's praise enough for this old stallion.
*L* Sy

Denise the sweet,
I love the pleasure of your read,
If I were a Knight I'd grant you a deed.

Sy,
Amateur you claim to be
But that is not what others see
Someone said you write like Frost
And I say your poems should not be lost
They should be published, that's for sure
You've got Frost's talent, even more
I'm sure that many will agree
The beauty of your poetry

Liz,
It's in back of my thoughts not hard to find
And the older I get the more in mind.
Thank you. *L* Sy

Seymour -
With each new poem you write
I read and think ...
such lovely thoughts put to paper.
Indeed, if a book of your poetry
were on a shelf at Barnes and Noble ...
I'd pick up a copy.

Andy
Please do not cry
For you mean more to me,
Then all the porpoise in the sea.
Marge,
Thank you so much, if I ever do I'll give you a copy. *L*

Sy, so many words of praise you gain whenever the muse has used your name
you must know this lady here
sits in awe of you, my dear.

Thank you so much for the coments
Since I am so shy they mean much to me.
