A night of joy and happiness as
They awaited the birth of their very first.
He stood by her side and held her hand,
Giving her as much encouragement as he can.

And finally on this christmas night,
Their bundle of joy found his way into light.
His first cry made their hearts soar,
Never had they heard a sound so beautiful before.

However,their happiness was short-lived.
For their little boy had a "broken wing".
But she held him gently in her arms,
And took on the role of a loving mum.
"Dont worry my broken-winged child.
We both love you just the way you are.
If I had to choose all over again,
It would be you I'd choose till the end".

So on this Christmas night,
A broken winged child was born.
But he is no less fortunate than the others,
For he had the greatest love of all.

Yesterday is history.Tomorrow is a mystery.Today is a Gift. That's why we call it The Present. - The Millennium Bug

He (or she) sounds like a perfect child, and a very fortunate one. I liked this.
