                  "Sweet Fantasy"

   I was really in love with a make belief fantasy.
   And i was so in love that i couldn't see.
   I couldn't see that what i wanted was really a
     dream.
   Is that sometimes things aren't what they seem.
   I guess i wanted to make forever out of an
     instant.
   But now i realize you were never here you were
     always distant.
   Maybe i wanted too much from you?
   And you didn't even have a clue, you never knew.
   It was my fault cause i tried to make you feel
     what i felt.
   And all i did around you was love you and melt.
   I was so in love with that fantasy.
   That i tried to make her my destiny.
   Sometimes fantasies just won't dissappear.
   And that's exactly what i fear.
   Cause you're still a part of me.
   But why if you're just a fantasy?
   I tried to make a garden out of weed.
   And i wanted to give when i was really in need.
   Why does it hurt so much if it was just a
     fantasy?
   Maybe because my heart wanted to make it reality.
   Sometimes your heart leads you in the wrong way.
   But thanks to him i could always say.
   I met love even though it was just a fantasy.
   And that, i'll never forget cause you'll always
     be a part of me.

"I tried to make a garden out of a weed..." OOhhh, I really liked that line! How cool ! That's the story of my life - haha....Let me just say, that if you did all of this for a person, and they didn't show you the same back, then they weren't worthy of your love and efforts. Keep looking until you find someone who is willing to give just as much if not more to the relationship.....Some people just take advantage of a loving heart, and then break it without a care.....Good Luck - and leave those weeds alone! They're trouble !!!

TO poetFemmeFatale THANKS A LOT FOR THOSE INSPIRING WORDS YOU HAVE BEEN AN INSPIRATION FOR ME TO KEEP WRITING POEMS AND I HOPE YOU GET A CHANCE TO READ ALL MY POEMS CAUSE THEY ARE REALLY MY LIFE PUT INTO WORDS. THANK YOU A LOT.
