"IRONIC" What is ironic? Life is!!! I want to be loved, but i don't want to love. I want to be pushed, but i don't want to be shoved. I love you, but i don't want you. I need you, but i can't have you. I miss you, but i don't miss the days when you were here. I've cried for you, but there's never been a tear. I miss having you in my arms, but i don't miss hugging you. Maybe you want to be with me, but you're afraid to say the truth. In order to have one thing you need to be missing the other. I could be with you, but we still won't have eachother. How can that be? You might be thinking. But i could be drowning without sinking. Life is just something crazy. It might be sour, but it's still tasty. You don't have to have eyes to see what's around you. But you need to have a heart to say I Love You. Just because you're alive doesn't mean you're living. And sometimes to recieve you don't have to be giving. Cause you're not giving me your love, but you're receiving mine. I could be your lover, but i could never take the place of your guy. So now that you've read this poem don't you agree with me. The life we live is something ironic... can't you see. otis omar |

You made some very good points here! I have felt some of these before! Very interesting read! Are you by chance, a Capricorn? LOL They are known for being "contradictory".....They want one thing, but then another! I am a Capricorn - and that's how I am! Makes for a very confusing personality, that I struggle with daily ! hehe Thanks for sharing this - sending it back for others to read! - - - If I can just touch you once, then I feel I have accomplished what I am called to do...- - pFF |

This was amazing, I feel like you read my thoughts...you touched on some most interesting points, about wanting one thing then the other or about missing something, but then again, not really. I loved it!!! If you love something, set it free, if it comes back to you, its meant to be... |

A most interesting rendering. I was most struck with : 'Just because you're alive doesn't mean you're living.' Amen to that. Nice job. ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |

Truly a heartfelt message I think we all can relate to...the tug of the heartstrings entwined with the hurts it brings. |
