Like the sound of an angel of the highest order
Her voice speaks to me in my dreams
From beyond the night, crossing that border
Where once there were only screams.

She speaks of a love not yet known
A love that she and I will share
But until that day where she will be my own
This distance is more than I can bear.

Oh angel of my heart speak to me again
Calm my heart and quench my fears
Your voice says that you will come. . . when?
For all I can see now are tears.

"I will come to you soon my love, so dry your eyes.
We will be together, soon we will be one
Our hearts are bound together, our love is the tie
And on that day, I will not leave you when comes
   the rising sun."

Sven,
How do you do it? It's so difficult for me to write a verse with 4 rhyming phrases and you did it htroughout the poem. Perhaps all of your poems are such, but I never noticed because I was more interested in the content.
Your lady friend will like this one, It is very romantic.

Elizabeth, I really don't know how I get the lines to rhyme, it just comes to me. . .

Thank you Isis. . .

Severn and Marge, glad that you enjoyed it. . .
