Sit down, I am here. I have been here always. I have watched Hitler and Stalin And their downfalls begin. I have watched leaders Come and go. Who am I? You don't know? Then let me show you. I remember the Civil War, the Vietnam War, The Persian Gulf and many more. I watched the battles from day to day. Wars have come and men have gone. Leaders have lead and are no more. But I am here, here at your door. I will stay as you move on. I will stay when you are gone. For I am History, I am Time. |

Eloise, If only history could really speak, we would be alarmed at the truth, but even so, we should study it and remember from it. This is a beautiful poem Liz |

Great piece Eloise! A soul that writes from the heart and shares it, truly gives a gift extraordinaire! |
