I'd like to stay hidden
So no one can see
My face
Always turned away
Against everyone's glance

I'd like not to be recognized
For my apperance
That speaks of nothing
But meaningless lables
That have been pasted from
My head down to my feet

I'd like the mystery to still be just that
A mystery so no one will know
That inside I'm different
That inside I'm not
Just that "Someone"
Who doesn't even matter

I'd like it if everyone would just look away
When I walk slowly into the room
For it isn't because I'm ashamed
That I look down at the floor
It's just that...
I'd like to stay hidden

Joy,
This reminds me of "Georgie Girl", but the beauty is revealed in one's eyes, so if you hold your head down, no one will be able to recognize it. This is beautifully written

Joy,

If you stay hidden we're not going to see:

That inside your different
That inside your not
Just that "Someone"

You obviously have a lot to offer. Most of what I write is from what I see in a persons eyes.

Wonderful piece.

Lift your head and walk tall with the rest of us who are struggling to find out who we are. No one is better than you.

There must be some kinda way out of here... say the joker to the thief

There's to much confusion, I can't get no relief
