Love is an entwining of your spirit & mine-
Hearts within hearts..minds within minds-
Young & passionate..like a just blossoming rose-
Fiery & fragrant..unleashed by emphatuation;
Furiously, quickly, it grows---

Like a fire, ever upward..its flames higher soar-
Within the "heat of the passion"
..overwhelming the lovers--like a lion it roars--It's fiery tongues, ever licking...
Searching, seeking, consuming...
Our souls to deplore---

AAhhh---the heat is a fury!
And the fire is soon gone --
We have consumed each other...
burned out and both gone---
Nothing left but the ashes...
and the memories that remain--
Our Hearts lie in "Blackness"...
Calling each other names---

Oh, where is the beauty? Oh, where is the Rose?
Gone up in the Smoke! Love comes & Love goes...
Now this is the story..That most everyone can tell-
They started out in Love..but they ended up in Hell!

Oh, where is the "wisdom".. that surely lies within-
You reap what you sow..when your Love is in sin-
For Love is not Passion!..
but understanding with a smile--
It's not just "Reap & a Harvest"...
It's a "giving & a caring"---
It's a "going the last mile"...

Love is not just a Dance!..
And some pretty song---
But Love is still Love...
When the "Beauty is all Gone!---

Odd verse this, yet it likes me much.

Now and forever, my heart hears ~one voice~.

Certainly is apparent (no pun intended) where Gennifer got her talent! Excellent.. (though hard to read as the font is so small).

Wonderful wonderful words of wisdom! Just think how many marriages would be saved if everyone took these words to heart! Thank you for sharing this!

Dad, I remember reading this one in your collection, and it's still as beautiful now as it was the first time I read it....Reminds me alot of my situation now, with Michael...there is alot of truth in this poem.  I hope others read and learn !! Is this the poem you were wanting to fit all on one page to print?  Thought maybe that's why you used smaller font, it should fit !     I agree with PdV though, I had to strain a bit to see it all, and I'm MUCH younger than SHE is !!  ROFL  Had to say that PdV !!  hehe  Been a long time since I've given you a hard time !!!   *** big grin !      Gawd, I hope she doesn't see that - maybe I should have typed it in smaller font !!!  ROFL   hehehe  Sorry.....

This was awesome! Just beautiful it is!
I have this little clipping...
You want to know what real love is? It's not what most people think it is. Real love is about decision and commitment-it's not a feeling.  Everyone is standing around waiting for "the feeling." They want to feel that spine-tingling rush of infatuation. Yes,
that's right-that feeling is infatuation.

Your poem has a strong message in it, and I think I'm gonna print this out!

Dear Mr. Femme's Father,
If we were in the Adult Forum, I could tell you how to make this font bigger! As we are not, I still can! Hheheheheh...go into the edit function and at the top by the name of the font, you will see the #1...change the 1 to a 2..and submit..magically, the font will be larger.

As for Gennifer, as soon as I change my Depends and get the wheel on my walker fixed, I'm going to chase her around the forum here and smack her with my bifocals!

And one more thing (you know older is better when you can keep talking and not care if anyone is listening!)....what was I going to say? Oh, yes! Now I forgot again! Geez!

DE PDV DSN PFF W-Dov  Sorry for all the small font business.  We have corrected for all the visually impaired.HE-HE.  No we actually did that by accident and thanks to PDV we learned how to correct.  We are certainly enjoying reading all the poems in this forum.  So much so, us old folks may not be able to get up in the morning.
White Dove we enjoyed the deal with the numbers in the Spiritual Forum.  The book on numbers comes from about 10 miles from our hometown back in Arkansas.
