An Ode toMy Best Friend

This may seem silly to some people, but it is a poem I wrote for my closest friend so long ago, and I realize it still holds so true!

My friend...my best friend
That's what you'll be forever
There will never be an end
Our ties are never to sever
You've been there for me
Through thick and thin
Even throughout those times of "he"
Throughout all of "him," you've always been able to make me grin
I would always think
That my world was over
But you would never really let my heart sink
You'd find a way to make me happy -- be it even with a four leaf clover
Yes, we do share times of mutual hate
But they turn out to be simply ridiculous
Because we can always stop and think, "Wait!"
Nothing could ever truly come between us!

best friends are great and anyoe who has you as their best friend hsould fel very lucky! What a wonderful tribute through poetry!
