Throw A Little Dirt ~Marge Tindal~ 1999 There is an old, old saying. For eons it's been around. 'When you throw a little dirt, you lose a little ground.' If indeed it's true, and I believe it with all my soul, You must be in over your head, for you've dug yourself into a hole. It's for sure, you'll get it back, when others do as you have done. They'll eventually throw it back and then you will have some. Better to sweep it out the door or sweep it under the rug. It may just land on your head, in the hole that you dug. Unless it lands on top of you and then the story's through. You will be buried under the same dirt that you threw. ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
