I'm kind of on this romantic poetry kick at the moment, bare w/ me!!

Every time we say goodbye
It's killing me slowly deep inside
I'm a man in love
One step from a ticket to Heaven

You only live once
Once is not enough with you
So with the time I have
I want the chance to make you happy

A romantic heart
A porch swing on a summer night
Skin so soft and smooth
I shudder from a touch so slight

I'm attracted to paradise
You've got me flying high
Girl it would be so nice
To say goodnight instead of goodbye

Tell me that you love me
Tell me you don't want me to go away
Tell me that you need me
Tell me you want me to stay
Just tell me....

LostBoy -
Your 'romantic' nature is A-Okay
in my book !
Keep it coming.
I like ... and the 'porch swing'
really was charming.

Lostboy-as you already know, I too am a fan of your romantic heart. Can't you tell I find ya wherever you go on here. So actually you aren't such a lostboy are ya?   Nevermind , just in a goofy mood today, you'll have to excuse me.   So back to the point, this is yet another great poem. And I'll bear with your romantic kicks anytime. just keep 'em comein'.

nice & romantic but not insipid, lostboy.
I thought your poem sounded like it would also be good as a song... ever thought about that?

I am Lost in your poetry........

Your heart I can see,
Your soul I can feel,

A ROMANTIC HEARTwas mentioned in verse three, I relate to thee,

In a poem you shall find the answer to the question you have asked.....

You are so sweet and Romantic! I love your work and I can't wait till your next post!

Lostboy, Great romantic poem. I especially love the line.... To say Goodnight instead of goodbye.
