Mystery surrounds you But I have seen inside, Your quiet style your secret smile your presence dignified. I know you like to hide it You play your little games with eager eyes and subtle lies you fuel my inner flames. And still inside there is that girl unsure of what she’ll be. so break away from yesterday and face the world with me. **************************************** This came from that The past but a reminder of things that we regret. The days gone bye that you and I fell through the safety net. We live to keep on living and never question why with each days light and coming night this pattern we deny. And though each hour offers a world of disarray, With pride we fight tomorrow in site to break away from yesterday [This message has been edited by Kevin (edited 12-12-1999).] |

I really enjoyed this poem and it speaks the truth. People should not be afraid or try to hide who they are. You seem to have good insight into that and it makes your poem feel more honest. |

This was very good. Sometimes being afraid keeps us in our own safe place and in a world we know....as you stand on uncharted waters you are not lost...but just now finding yourself. May you break away and find your tomorrow as yesterday Kevin. :0 Share what you are for you are what you share |

Hey, wonderful poem here. I actually had someone say something close to this to me one time...had a goodly amount of impact one me. "Glory remains unaware of my neglected dwelling where alone I sing my tearful song which has charms only for me." -Charles Brugnot |

Kevin - What a wonderful couplet of verses. I so enjoy what you write. The feelings you express are precious. Enjoyed this very much. ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |

A wonderful couple of couplets here Kevin, and I half way expected you to enter the "Masquerade Challenge" as Balladeer? Nice reading you. |
