When you feel blue and want someone to hold you,
think about me sweet angel of the north country.
Even though I'm 2000 miles away,
I would love to cuddle with you every day.
Yes I really would sweet angel of the north country.
I have to believe our special moment is not far away,
when we will meet face to face and touch and embrace.
Me and my sweet angel of the north country.
Can I count on you to give it a try,
I'd like to find out if our Love will live or die.
This is something that's really important to me,
sweet angel of the north country.
Did I tell you that I feel blue,
and I sure would Love to hold you,
my sweet angel.

Thanks Dark Angel and dsnyder for reading and commenting about my poem. I wrote this for my friend Mich who lives so far away from me...she lives in Vancouver.... but sometimes when I think about her I feel like she is right next to me and I can reach out and touch her.

Thank you Nan and Saxoness and hoot_owl for your lovely responses. Nan..I haven't sent this to her yet..probably Monday or Tuesday. I wanted to see if anyone enjoyed the poem. I hope it warms her heart. Saxoness you really seem to have a soft heart. Hoot_owl... my friend Mich is the sweetest woman I know. James
