This is an e-mail I sent to my sisiter who is always there for me

Dear Margaret,

Thank you for the moments, thank you for the years
Thank you for cushioning my worries and my fears

Thank you for the inspiration, thank you for the hope
And for making it so easy and so effortless to cope

Thank you for the conversations, thank you for the love
And for taking me to special places I've been dreaming of

Thank you for the escapades in you little car
Thank you just for being the sister that you are

My heart is just rejoicing, it's jumping up and down
It's dancing in the meadows and it's spinning all around

My heart is doing somersaults and flip-flops in the air
It's doing rolling cartwheels and jumping jacks with flair

My heart is doing little swirling spirals in the breeze
It's fluttering and twirling and tumbling with ease

My heart is doing wheelies, it's relishing in fun
So grateful is my little heart for all that you have done

Love,Elizabeth

This is wonderful, Elizabeth. We all have so many friends or relatives who have meant very much to us and too seldom do we take the time to tell them. It was very special of you to do so.

Veo que usted es una persona muy buena. Bienvenidos a nuestro mundo pequeno.

Entendido, Elizabeth. My Portugues is quite rusty so I'll play it safe and stick to English. Glad you understood.

Elizabeth -

This is heart-rendering.
Sisters ... are wonderful.
Margaret will be delighted.

Elizabeth,
You once posted a note to me about a poem I wrote for my parents, asking me "Can You be my daughter?"....
So now I ask you....Can you be my sister?
What a wonderful tribute to her.

What a nubile little heart!  Certainly is a busy one.  I'll bet she loved this poem.

Liz,
Only you could write something as sweet and meaningful as this poem, I can't top this.

There's a lot more to you that at first meets the eye, isn't there...nope, that was a rhetorical question..I already know the answer.. Bet she loved it as much as you enjoyed writing it..
