I've heard them say you have a new interest,
And she's quite beautiful to see,
That they have seen you two together,
And that you couldn't possibly love me.

I've heard you say that I'm the only one,
From now until forever,
That you could never live without me,
And we'll always be together.

But I've heard them say she's wonderful,
Everything I'll never be,
That I'm ignorant for loving you,
When it's so easy to see.

I've heard you say I'm everything,
Your dreams were ever made of,
The only one to ever tame your heart,
With such a sweet tempered love.

I've heard your going somewhere,
That I may never follow,
With the one who's stolen your heart away,
And for a moment my future is hollow.

But I hear you say your exactly,
Where you want to be,
In my arms forever more,
Life without me, a distant memory.

I sit and listen long and hard,
To what I feel inside,
And I know that I can find the truth,
With one glance in your eyes.

I ask you to promise me,
That you love me still,
It's been said so many times before,
That I should know how you feel.

You held me tight within your arms,
Staring at me for some time,
Then whispered "I love you, you're my everything,
"Marry me, be mine?"

Now I know they hear the stories,
Of the beautiful girl that wears your ring,
The one that stole your heart away,
Without saying a thing.

I hear that they've seen her,
Walking with you, holding hands,
That there's a baby on the way,
And mommy and daddy have big plans.

I hear that they have told you,
She must be beautiful to see,
A wonderful wife, a heartfelt mother,
The one you knew I always would be.

This seems so sad Amber.
Nicely written.

Look what I found buried at the bottom of the stack!  T'would have been a shame to let this one get pushed aside.  Nice work, Amber.  Sweet and sad.

Truely beautiful. And also very sad.
