If I was gone tomorrow
Would you really know?
Would you feel the slightest sorrow
Would it really show?

how soon would it take to fade
your thoughts, my memory
When my final hand is played
how long will you remember me

a day, a week, a month, a  year
It matters not you know
For maybe you would shed a tear
still after time, those too, must go.

This is wonderful, Kevin! The clock icon goes well with it too!

You ain't going nowhere, boy.
Cause we love you,
yes we do.

And if you left,

I said if you left ...

I'D CRY A RIVER OVER YOU !

Oh wow, I really liked this...really got me thinking...As obviously you were!!  What a powerful lot you had to say in just 3 stanzas!  Bravo!   I admire one who can say so much in so few words....

All things pass and it is horrid to think we might be forgotten.
Great writing!

Wow!  In a few words you have managed to express the greatest fear we have - of being forgotten.  Touched me very personally.
