I guess I should have known better
Than to let myself fall prey to these ways.
I guess I should have thought more
Of all the consequences before engaging in the acts.
I guess I should have given up rationalizing our actions
And just have known what was right and what was wrong.
I guess I could have controlled myself...
But then again, what fun could that be?

Wow. This poem gave me chills, literally. This poem is my thoughts exactly. I'm serious. This poem touched my heart, my soul, my everything. It was short, but my goodness, I don't think I could have said it better myself. Thank God for other poets, huh?

Heehee, yes, Nan -- I do agree, if you can't have fun, then why bother? And thanx Rachel ... and i do agree with you too -- Thank God for other poets, they do help me out so much!!
