I take your palm within mine. And lay upon your hand. This tiny little flower. Hoping you will understand. This little bloom is fragile. Just as fragile as our love. I ask you please don’t crush it. Is this small request enough? Let your love shine upon it. Don’t water it with my tears. Don’t let it wither and die. With care it will last for years. It may change with time my love. It may not seem the same. But it will always be ours even if love were not its name. Don’t let it lay forgotten. As you busy yourself with life. Don’t ignore the fragile flower or that you now have a wife. Hold each gently in your heart. be gentle with your hand. I give this fragile love to you hoping you will understand. ------------------ Not all poems I write are about me personally, yet they do come from MY soul. |

Emotions can be very fragile. Love can grow deeper and stronger if not crushed. You said it all! |

Very well said Lucie. That which breaths in the life can crush it just as fast. |
