In The Land Of Dreams
~Marge Tindal~ 1999

In the land of dreams
I seek your face.
Nothing comforts me more
than knowing you are here with me,
just as before.

I call out to you
and hold you close.
My body knows your touch,
as when we both were young,
and loved each other
just as much.

In the solitude of reflection,
I smile when I remember.
How can it be that we just met
one year ago .... December ?

I've known you before.
I know you again.
It's always been this way.
I remember that I loved you
long before this day.

Only in my dreams?
I really don't believe
that's true,
for upon awakening ...
I still have knowledge of you.

You are not
and were not
a dream.

You are as real
a love
as I
ever
dreamed
you'd be.

This poem was done for my
spiritual counter-part who I met,
in this lifetime, one year ago.
