Walking Against the Wind I've listened to the clouds Move across an endless sky I've watched the misty mountains In my dreams, I drift by But when I'm alone I know that I'm Walking against the wind. I dreamt of you last night You were sweet and loving and here again And although our love was meaningful, I'm still walking against the wind. Sometimes I wake up crying Knowing we'll never be the same Sometimes I wake up dying Dreaming you that you loved me again I've needed your touch Wanted you too much It's useless, all the same I do it anyway To be next to you, even if I'm Walking against the wind. ------------------ The night is my companion The solitude my guide Would I spend forever here And not be satisfied? very beautiful..and full of sad emotion. Nicely done. ------------------ It's not the love you fear, but the fall from the height~Edwin McCain |
