Confession is good for the soul they say. But I say I just can't believe it. It exposes the pain and the grief that one feels, their life and the way that they live it. It offers the truth but it may not explain. And it may not produce understanding. But the guilt it can bring is so dreadful a thing when the world just wont let them forget it. ------------------ Lorene Yesterday is history, tomorrow just a mystery. And if today is good to me, it will beat the heck out of day before yesterday! |

Ohme: If I confessed my sins, I think even the priest would blush...and the vicar would end up being defrocked...now there's a thought..*g* HUGS my teenager friend.. ------------------ There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle, or the mirror that reflects it... |

I think the trick is in choosing wisely the person to whom we confess. *S* And sometimes, I've found that my cats are incredibly an incredibly attentive, non-judgmental audience! *S* Nothing I say to them ever comes back to haunt me. *S* Well done!! |

I agree with suthern on this Ohme.....about choosing wisely who you pour you heart out to....! ------------------ A soul that writes from the heart and shares it, truly gives a gift extraordinaire! |

When you confess remember it is for your edification not condemnation. Confession is your heart saying you know it was wrong and your mouth saying it won't happen again while brain thinks...man...that was great! |
