I've Heard Whispers ~Marge Tindal~ 1999 I've heard whispers of a man, who gave his life for me. The stories meet me on the hills of sweet reverie. They tell me that he passed this way, I searched, but did not find the man of whom they speak, is he only in my mind? I go from place to place I cannot find the man. Tell me have you seen him, somewhere across this land? I look, I seek, I ask his path. It's more than I can bear. They smile at me and shake their heads and say they know not where. I travel the weary darkness, this day has been the worst. Tell him I am seeking him, if you should meet him first. ------------------ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Marge, this is beautiful, how do you come up with so much poetry in a day. It comes from a very creative mind and a loving heart Elizabeth |

You’ll see His footprints in the dew Or after early rain And sense His presence in the gloom Of deep, enduring pain And after death has touched your life Or been inside your home You’ll find His gentle comfort When you are all alone Art seeking ‘cause you’re weary? And fears and doubts abound Somewhere in the shadows Jesus will be found. ------------------ Live large, people! ~GS~ http://www.geocities.com/montcogunslinger/HomePage.html |

Slinger - That's lovely. Thank you so much. I wearied of searching, no more able to roam. Then HE FOUND ME ... now, I'm not alone. The tales were all true ... This day is no longer the worst. You must have met him on the trail and sent him to quench my thirst. ------------------ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Marge - What a wonderful piece this is. We really are never all alone. He always manages one way or another to let us know He is there. |

Beautiful, again Marge! ------------------ Lorene Yesterday is history, tomorrow just a mystery. And if today is good to me, it will beat the heck out of day before yesterday! |
