The gentle soothing glow of the candle's flame keeps me in its reign It's romanticising dance swaying with serenity holds me in a trance The way the shadows fall upon unknowing walls disguising of all flaws Amidst this wonderous light resides the peaceful realm in which I've come to dwell The longing to reach deeper inside my now quiet mind erasing reality and time -------------------------- forgive me, I was surrounded by candles when I wrote this. what can I say, I was inspired  |

Oh, danni, this was really a vivid poem for me. I love lighting the candles and getting lost in the dance of the flames and letting your mind take you to other places. Nice capture! |

Thanks lostboy. Threre is no more relaxing way to release the days stresses than by lighting a few candles and staring off into another place. Happy you enjoyed this. |
