                    Poems
Poems are very hard to write,
It is hard to make them rhyme and not sound trite.
They are so hard in fact to write,
When I am forced to compose one I am up all night!

                 IT'S SO COLD
It's so cold
on this winters eve
It's so cold
keep your arms in your sleeves
It's so cold
they may freeze
It's so cold
there is frost on the trees
It's so cold
frozen are the bees
It's so cold
shaking are my knees

A Horrible Christmas

What if Santa feel off your roof,
Surely the world would hear a loud boo-hoo!
For Santa would be able to finish his job,
And surely Christmas would become a fraud!

No more toys for the young boys and girls,
No pretty jewelry boxes that look amazing when twirled.
No more presents under the Christmas tree,
For Santa's reindeer would have been set free!

The world would awake to a moment of fear,
And surely Christmas Day would be full of tears.
So if you hear Santa's bells on your roof that night,
Pray to the heavens that he will deliver the world's presents all right!

               Lion Awaking
Thy little Suzie waking the lion
Lets not mention what happened to Brian
in a flash
there was a clang and a bash
lets take a moment to embrace
and wipe away our tear stained face
for poor little Suzie is a dyin

Hey look it's Mr.Ecstatic
who is such a fanatic
of a guy named Elvis
who wrote the song "Pelvis"
and another called "Static"

Hey look it's Mrs. Peach
who lives upon the beach.
She reads while tanning
and has a servant for fanning
she's quite the money leech

Hey look it's Mr. Plumb
Who says every song has been sung.
His life is quite dull
an inpersistent null
his attitude is dumb

In a land of opposites, you might find,
that people are mean and never kind

Where children work and never play
and adult act childish day by day

And everyone loves broccoli and peas
and people are dirty and get fleas

They are bored all day and just hang around
I'm so glad this place has not been found

Sister, Sister

Sister, sister she's a pain,
I want to flush Her down the drain.

Brother, Brother he's okay,
But I, just want to get away.

Pulling, Tugging on my hair,
I really really shouldn't care.

Sure, oh sure you don't believe me,
They act so nice it makes me queesy.

Now I have a baby sister,
Once and a while I like to kiss her.

But late at night she likes to cry,
and that is when she's not a piece of pie.

I quess they'll just have to do,
till my time at home is finally through.

             My  ****en Season of ****
           By: Caitlyn "The sped" Roberts

my  favorite  season  of  the  year  can  you  guess  its  right  here

I  like  to  play  in  the  leaves
I  jump  and  joy  with  glee

The  leaves  sway  from  side  to  side  like  someone  blowing  them  in  front  of  my  eye.

You  can  say  that  this  Season  isn't  the  best

But  really   wins  from  all the  rest

                 Christmas Eve
                       By: Kira Carliss

It's Christmas Eve,
And I can't believe,
The excitement that's in the air.
The hustle and bustle, the music and cheer,
Children's smiles from ear to ear.

Santa Claus and elves,
Wrapped presents being hidden on shelves.
Milk and cookies on the table,
Sleep? Children are never able.

When the clock strikes twelve,
Here comes the biggest elve.
And the roof will creak,
So the children will peak and scream...

SANTA! SANTA!

              Winter Time

    Winter time is here,
    The snow is nowhere near,
The trees have lost their leaves,
    And everyone wears sleeves.

    The winter blanket's out,
    But snow is not about,
    The people all a shiver,
The wind makes the home a' quiver.

    Once finally snow comes,
    Winter will be done,
    Summer then will come,
Then all the kids have fun.

    But not me,
Until the snow I hope to see,
So I now wait for the snow,
    To fall,drift,and blow.  BY: MOO

              Snowball Fight
As I step out into the snow a white sphere whizzes by my face,
I follow it's path as it lands, SPLAT!, on my best friends arm,
I duck as another white sphere whizzes by my face,
I grab a fistful of snow and make a shapely round ball,
As I get up to throw it, SPLAT!!!, a snowball hits me in the face,
I fall as the burning coldness stings my cheeks and nose,
I laugh.

A perfect day for a game,
Without a cloud in the sky.
In the mid-70's
The middle of July.

The buzzing of people,
Talking with no end.
Baseballs crackin,
off large lumber bats.

The two teams take their places,
the talking simmers down,
except for a few.

Above all the voices,
there is one voice to be heard,
"PLAY BALL!"

Mr. Bomten lives in the town of humten
lots of mumtens live in Humten
all the mumtenss love Mr.Bumten
except for Mr.Lumten.
He is a mean Mumten
no one one likes Mr.Lumten
Then Mr.Lumten died
all the Mumtens were sad.

Look at all the snow today
Like a world of white
I think today is going to be
Perfect for a snowball fight

We can build big snowmen
And decorate them with lights
But we're all waiting for someone
To start the snowball fight

I thought I felt something by my side
It felt almost like a bite,
I turned around and saw
Little Joey start the snowball fight

It was an infinate battle
That went on through the night
I thought it would never end
That endless snowball fight!

                    My Cow
I have a cow with purple spots
It also has some greenish dots
When my cow gets dirty I mop it
It is so heavy sometimes I drop it
My cows name is Big Nessie
Cleaning its Droppings is very messy
When I milk it
It kicks me away
So then I take it out to play
For dinner it eats a chunk of meat
And for dessert it nibbles my feet
Now I lay her down to sleep
Sleep sound my cow
Don't make a peep.

CHRISTMAS TIME

WHEN THE TIME IS NEAR,
IT'S PERFECTLY CLEAR.
THAT THOSE DANGLING SLIEGHBELLS,
ARE ALL THAT YOU'LL HEAR.

ON DECEMBER FIRST.
YOU'LL BEGIN YOUR THIRST,
FOR EGGNOG AN' GIFTS.
AND NOTHING WORSE.

AND DURING THIS TIME,
THERE'S ONE THING YOU'LL FIND.
THAT GIVING FOR OTHERS,
WILL BLESS YOUR MIND.

THE SKY MAKES BEAUTIFUL WONDERS OF WHITE.
THE SNOW IS TRULY A MAGNIFICENT SIGHT.
SO UNTILL SANTA COMES,
I WISH YOU ALL A GOOD NIGHT

There is a giant willow tree in a field where i live.  The willow tree sways lightlyfrom side t side in the warm early spring breeze.  As the sun slowly rises over the purple mountains majesty,as bids sing from atop it's branches.  But this tree has not always known such happiness.  No not at all.  This tree has been forced to watch it's brothers and sisters brutilly murdered.  First by ax's later by chainsaws.  This tree has seen dismemberd tree limbs hauled off in trucks spewing black smoke and leaking oil on the sapp soacked ground.  No this tree is not happy.  For this tree is the only one in three square miles.

There once was a teacher, Bob.
Who was fond of corn on the cob.
One day by mistake,
He ate a red steak,
And then he started a mob.

Christmas

Christmas will be soon be here
Fill the rooms with lots of cheer
Merrily dancing all night long
When caroling we sing many songs

Santa, Santa please come soon I really couldn't wait till June
I am so annxious I wet my pants
My mom said I did a funny dance

Presents and love to end the year
Hey wait we still have one more party here!
It is finally New Years Eve
You You never know whats up my sleeve

Till finally the clock strikes twelve, POP!
Confetti coming down no way for it to stop.
A New Year  is just beginning
I make a wish in hopes of winning

Let's start off the year off right
Cause it's a very special night!

The Yankees are better than the Sox
When they beat them the fans throw rocks
With Knoblauch like a fox
He hits homers off those stupid jocks
After one inning the Red Sox are rocked
Without Pedro the Yankees will walk
In the dugout the Red Sox talked               Of how they thoght they had the win locked
Out on the field the Yankees mocked
At the useless players the Sox had stocked
bY THE SECOND THE FANS HAD SAID
