How does one know the love one feels is true? Oh, is it just a trick of foolish heart? If I am yet a clown in loves canoe Then why does this feel like the finest art? My heart beats faster when he's in my mind My soul does yearn when he is out of sight This long for him might be a piece refined Or is it just illusion that feels right? His lips on mine feel like eternal bliss Our hearts are made to always intertwine But is this yet a float in lifes abyss Or may this be a taste of loves best wine Your heart will tell you when you love sincere Just careful listen and loves voice you'll hear *** Is this sonnet right? Tried hard to follow iambic pentameter, not sure if i succeeded |

As far as I can gather, it seems so. You made a good use of Iambic Pentameter, and to that end, you succeeded. - a_hollowman |

Your rhyme scheme and meter adhere well to the stipulations of the formal sonnet. It's a good write. The only suggestion I'd make is to clarify your possessives with an apostrophe for each "love's" and "life's" are grammatically proper... Nicely done, zenny... |
