Many seeds planted will not germinate and grow into a bouquet. Nan, I sure hope I got the idea right. Been working at it a long time. ------------------ Yesterday is history, tomorrow just a mystery. And if today is good to me how could I ask for more? |

Words of wisdom, and exactly the right syllable count -- but I really can't tell you much about the "haiku moment" or the "turn" its supposed to take. I am under the impression (and it may be a false one) that you are supposed to somehow connect two seemingly unrelated things -- sort of like a simile or metaphor without the "like", "as" or "is". Looking at the ones Nan offered for our consideration, however, I think that may be mutable. Either way, I like this -- simple and very true. --Kess ------------------ You cannot choose the way of your death, but the path you choose will determine its own end. |

Thanks, Kess, Jim. Well it seems my hidden message was too well hidden. Perhaps It is too far fetched to be Haiku. OK. The bouquet was to symbolize perfect harmony, or that which is acceptable. The many seeds planted, I saw as individual attempts at success. So to me the hidden message was that not all of our efforts will have a successful outcome. Well, back to the drawing board. No, Jim not easy. But will work on it again! ------------------ Yesterday is history, tomorrow just a mystery. And if today is good to me how could I ask for more? |
