Watch the sand in sunlight glisten as it trickles from your hand We are memories Hear faint voices if you listen your attention they'll command Our days stretch on forever Come with us as friends we'll take you wake you from your current sleep Hear the laughter of the children Gaze with eyes renewed of wonder on these sights they're yours to keep Long forgotten now remembered Build your castles fight your dragons claim this kingdom as your own We are memories Cast aside the form which holds you for its' use you have outgrown Our days stretch on forever Come with us as friends we'll take you wake you from your current sleep Whisper touch of sand through fingers Let us linger for a moment in the present woke from sleep. |
