THE POEM thrown in the middle of the stream not knowing wich way to turn sometimes hanging in there for a while like a Sunday's rest then disappearing out of sight so quickly that one could wonder if it was even there leaving behind a feeling of uncertainty either praised or ignored it flows in the stream till the last breath of hope sometimes revived for a short time always seeking for recognition it vanishes in thin air at last yet its spirit remains the birth and death of a poem Like scattered leaves...my words will flow |

Like everyone else already said Titia, you have described a poem exquisitely. Wonderful extended metaphor. Thanks, Pete |

Wonderful write, Titia. Sometimes my poems feel like "fish stories,"--the best one got away before I could capture it on the page! Shenachie |

Very nicely done, Titia - You've used extended metaphor and incorporated lots of great verbal visualizations... A good simile (as Lyra pointed out)... What a great job, m'friend... ![]() |
