New Forms Of Poetry

To attempt each form of poetry
To attempt each form of poetry
I will try to write at least once
I will try to write at least once
Of each form I will attempt to
To write at least once of poetry

Even though it may be hard
Even though it may be hard
I will still try to write
I will still try to write
Though it may be hard
Even still I will try to write

No fear do I have of trying
No fear do I have of trying
To learn new forms of poetry
To learn new forms of poetry
Of new poetry forms do I have
No fear of trying to learn

To attempt each form of poetry
I will try to write at least once
Even though it may be hard
I will still try to write
No fear do I have of trying
To learn new forms of poetry

Sue, as far as I can see, this is ALL RIGHT great job, all the words are there (I think)

Haven't studied those forms yet, but it looks good.

Hey there Sue

It's sooo nice to see your wonderful enthusiasm for writing all sorts of different poetic formats.  You've followed the specifications of the paradelle here, and your poem surely conforms to the rules...

Now for an added challenge - Take the last stanza and shuffle those words around - using every single one of them - no more - no less - to form a new thought.  This becomes the most difficult part of writing paradelles...

You're way ahead of the rest of the class, so far, m'friend...

Oh my teacher! Shuffling these words around is indeed a more difficult challenge. LOL! That will be almost as bad as trying to write a sestina. But, I will give it a try. I am off to work on the shuffling of the words, now. Thank you for helping me learn these forms.

My hat is off to you, Sue.
I'm still struggling to do
the classwork paradelle.
To date, my words fail.

Ok, I confess that I just don't like the form but my hat is off to anyone who can pull it off.
