Just thought I'd post an old one to get the ball rolling.
I hope you like it.

You did this very good. It sure looks tough, though. I sure did want to do the workshop assignment this month, too. But unless, I get a better understanding of how to do this, I don't think I am going to be able to do it.

Thank you muchly.

Don't worry.  I'm sure Nan will be back 'soon'
with more details about both paradelles and sestinas.
Hugs,

Oh yeah ... sure ... I'm in the nurses's station with my OWN headache already~
I'm not sure there's enough EXCEDRIN in the world to entice me to do a new Paradelle ....

Vicky ... you KNOW me ... and if I'm too dizzy to be on the merry-go-round, I'm surely too dizzy to take a spin on a Sestina~
Tell teacher that I'll take double-duty on banging the erasers !
And even that would hurt right now !

My Chiropractor had better get to 'cracking' ... or I'll have to miss this month's FUN~

Love you ... (but not quite enough for this)~

Vicky,
(hope I'm not too forward in calling you that.) This reads very well, follows the form too a tee,(if I'm not mistaken). Subject matter is strong, carries through to the end well. Very enjoyable.

I picture a hammer,to drive the point home.

Very apt description of penning a paradelle.
I have just made my first attempt at this form and can now fully appreciate your poem.

Cleverly drawn picture of the whole process.

Much appreciated,

Shenachie

Ok, I confess that I just don't like the form but my hat is off to anyone who can pull it off.

OK, Vicky - This one is excellent - How's about a sestina now?... She says as she contemplates writing her own...
