A
star
in shine
brings a glow
to all the hearts
in the know of love
filled with the kind and
loving thought - treasure
that cannot be bought with
any amount of money on earth

celebrate
His Holy
birth~

Amen!  It is so easy to lose sight of what really matters, especially in the increasingly commercialized world we live in.

Marge - This is indeed wonderful - I absolutely love it...

For those of us who don't seem to get the imagery thing... Let's use Marge's poem as an example - Because Doc's is one big ole personification...

This poem has a fantastic visual presentation...We've come to expect that of you, of course, Marge..

The 'tree' presentation makes the poem an 'extended metaphor'... The entire poem represents something other than its obvious words.

Other than that, Marge has also used some great personification here.  Stars cannot literally 'bring a glow to a heart'... She's given the star a life of its own...

Hearts cannot literally be filled with love.. more personification..

Making sense, Titia?.. Need any more help?
