What shall we do? Let's keep it simple - and perhaps holiday oriented?

As one of the new kids on the block, do I get to make a suggestion?  I do?

Any kind of poem with a graphic flair....

okay here is something
----------------------
ever wondered
how it would
appear
if you threw an egg
up the ceiling?

you think I am
crazy

well, you may
because you are
entitled to own
your thinking license

a maturity certificate
of sense

but,
look at the sky now,
in this mid-winter month
and tell me what you see

well, I can tell you exactly
what I see

I see clouds
mixed with blue patches

much like the ceiling
in my thoughts
darkening with
cobwebs of memories
and blue in the spirit
of loneliness

and I see the sun
which seems to be
holding back its heat,
unwilling to share its warmth
almost as cold hearted
as the chandelier
above my head
decorated with
impatient light bulbs

as if
waiting to go dead.

then I think again,
of an egg thrown
into the non-stick sky!

you think I am
crazy

of course, you do,
you may

but then,
remember this
before you make your judgement --
holidays, particularly alone
can do stranger things to you

....
let me know if you absolutely loathed it...
but, maybe you liked it...

regards,
sudhir

my pleasure, my friend...
here is another...

If
gloom
begins to
dwell, look
up to the sky
and hang on to
the bright clouds
of hope and develop
fresh waves of belief
to paint your ship's sails
with
huge
smiles

Thanks a lot, charisma...

I am waiting for others to start...

there are some huge stars here who do incredible things at mixing graphics of the way the poems look, the way they read, and at the same time 'showing' the scenes around the poem equally adeptly

Regards to all,
Sudhir

Well, based on Sudhir's own words...

A
Star
Came to all
from the heavens, that we
Might behold
His Love
In
all

And thus             His love
Became               His gift
To have                to hold
to cherish and to share with all
a reminder that he died for our sins
that we may forever live.

Oh, I've got to find my December sky pen. Don't know where I put it.
But I'll find it. Might be in January's batch
My poem will be posted, at some point
Thanks, Sudhir
