Hey guys - My self-imposed personal cyclone of life is about to subside - It's about time....

Anyway - We've got a request for Ballads this month - I'm up for that.  I'll even be able to participate before the month is over.

Who wants to play?...

Sign me up, Nan

I need to do something to kick my muse into gear...  Just remember I'm tone deaf though, so go easy on me if this requires iambics of any sort.

Ballads? You mean those long, long stories in iambic heptameter?   I'm in! I'm in!

Welcome back " Teach " . Ballads you say ?
Hmmm , now where have I heard that term before ? Oh yeah , there's some guy calling
himself " Deer " that writes a whole slew of those things with a twist in the rhyme scheme
if I remember correctly . Sign me up , sounds like fun .

It seems like I attempted this once before and all you pro's blew me out of the water before I could even begin!  I'd like to try again though, if some simple steps could be included!

Ballads?  Never did do one of those.
Guess it's time.  Yes, it's time.

Build a man a fire, and he's warm for a day.  Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.
