This is one of the two of these little nasties hat I've managed to contrive in my dark poetic past -- LOL. I chose this one because it bemoans the strictures (and limitations) of the form ... With Apologies Creating song in verse Creating song in verse This poet's happiness This poet's happiness This happiness in verse Creating poet's song; Of words composed in play Of words composed in play An artful parody An artful parody In parody composed An artful play of words. Pride wrought of artist's skill Pride wrought of artist's skill Regrets an empty well Regrets an empty well An empty pride well wrought Regrets of artist's skill; Composed in poet's words, An artful song of play; Creating happiness. An artist's pride regrets This parody of skill Well-wrought in empty verse! Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers. |

Skyfyre, To my way of thinking ( which may be a little skewed )this is an excellent rendering of a very demanding form . Doc |

once again, I am amazed at how you can untangle words and put them back together using such a difficult form! I guess some have it and some (me) don't! Nice job! |

Sky, once again, a superb job. I must echo Debbie in my appreciation for your talent in rewriting such lovely lines into equally beautiful perfectly coherent measures. Bravo! ~ Beth |

LOL... Do I detect a bit of poetic lachrymation here?... Of course, even your muttering is well done... |
