Did I ever say I thank you
from the bottom of my heart
for sharing your poetry wisdom
and sharing your wonderful art
Your lessons are always a pleasure
much fun we have in class
although some of them would rather
see some spitballs in my hair
Villanelle, Sestina, Haiku
unfortunately I missed
A Sonnet is not my forte
but I learned even I can write those
The Limericks gave me a kick
and were so much fun to do
but you know you’ve got me hooked
on this wonderful form called pantoum
Now Kess is our guest teacher
with "Personification of Love"
*G* did it give me a hard time
even took me another attempt
I’m looking very much forward
to whatever will be next
and secretly I am hoping
the next class will be a free verse
Nan you’re the greatest teacher
a truly wonderful person too
and ofcourse I mustn’t forget
the grand master himself RON !
Hereby I do thank you both
for this Poetry Workshop superb
learning to write by poetry rules
I love writing now even more !

Munda, that was terrific. If we have a session on free verse, can I sit next to you? Please, pretty please?

What terms shall I find sufficiently simple in their sublimity --
sufficiently sublime in their simplicity --
for the mere enunciation of my theme?

I guess I have a lot to learn .. a pantoum??

One thing I know though is these workshops are great for learning and great fun, and I'd like to say thanks to Nan, and to Kess too for her recent effort and also I suppose to Ron, though I've no idea what he does     (Do you think two winks is enough to keep him from slinging me out? ...lol  .... maybe I'll add another  )

Great poem Munda as well

Munda - You brighten up this class with your antics... I'm glad you're here, and I really appreciate this great poem...

Now we'll get you doing some great free verse, but you can't sit beside Not-a-Poet. That'll be much too distracting for you.

I, too, would like to thank Kess for a fine job done in Personification 401...

..and Poertree - Ron's the principal around here -  I'd watch out if I were you..

Right Hoot?

Hey - Who's the CrEaTuRe that snuck in the back of the room????
