The Void That Is Me-by Anonymous
I feel like I’m alone,
Sitting in my room,
Listening to my radio,
And my parent’s voices boom.
I cover up my pain,
With jokes and laughter,
My pain is so harsh,
That I can’t forget the day after.
I cry alone at night,
Smoking my Cigarette,
I cannot think of anything else,
I can only think of death.
Everyday I seem to fall,
I cannot hide it,
I must be set free,
Yet I cannot find me.
This is not fiction,
I am merely a boy,
I hide from my problems,
Trying to run away from the void.
If I survive this horrible fate,
I will have much to share,
If I do not live to see the next day,
I hope that someone will be aware.

nice work, and welcome to my daily life as well, minus the smoking. Seems a lot of people damaged by the world come here, and judging by your poem, I would assume you are inclined to agree. Welcome to passions.

Welcome to Passions. I hope that you end up with much to share with the world! Keep writing, it helps rid the pain. It seems that pain is what brings out the best poetry and writing. I will be looking forward to seeing more from you. Always remember that even in the midst of pain there is always hope, we just need to look harder for it.

Hey, thats some really good work. But I just want you to know that someone will ALWAYS be aware of you!
