The wind is wailing, Screaming, I turn ad face the ferocious air. It speaks! But what words are spoken here? Tell tale of rage, shattered homes, and translucent Wings of purple and gold. Multi-colored raindrops blind me to the darkness. Tonight I travel with the wind, To hunt the streets of New York, For the reason of desolation I feel. The wind grows stronger. The rain sets in, And slowly drowns away The life and hope Of a homeless man. |

Exellent work! I could see the images, feel the sadness woven within this poem. As for a name, I'm not exactly sure, but if I think of something, I'll let you know! Keep up the great work! ![]() *Krista Knutson* ~*Like a lion, without fear of the howling pack, Like a gust of wind, ne'er trapped in a snare, Like a lotus blossom, ne'er sprinkled by water, Let me, like a unicorn, in solitude roam.*~ Hymn Of Buddha |
