Questions Can I love you? Let me count the ways…. Do I love you? Oh darling you know for the rest of my days…. Do I worry? Yeah sometimes a little bit… Am I scared? Oh honey, everyday I bite my lip…. But somehow I get through it And I always know why…. Because of you and your laugh Because of you and those beautiful brown eyes…. I look away and wonder if this is all a dream Will someone please pinch me? Is this as fantastic as it seems? But can I love you? Can I count the ways? How can I go a minute without you? Let alone even a day? The worst thing of all Is wondering if this is your thinking too If you get those butterflies when we kiss And your heart beats faster than 42…. But sometimes I just sit back and smile Just because I know I love you…. And you wouldn’t call or you wouldn’t smile If your feelings weren’t true…. So baby don’t you worry I’ll be flyin high As long as I see you - My heart begins to hit the sky… |
