It was fun this time,
But i don't live in the past,
And i know when he's gone,
I won't look back.

My heart can only take so much,
Of your excuses and lies.
For it's time to look on,
And look into someone elses eyes.

I'm packin up and leavin,
Never to see your face.
Way far to a better place,
In the land of true love and serenity.
Where you no longer reside.
I'm sure i won't have any trouble,
Finding a person better than you inside.

I'm done giving a damn,
And i'm over you now.
I don't know what i think,
I only think that i know.
I know that it's time for me to leave,
And that i must finally go.

I'm barely in the distant,
But i see the tears already.
I wish i could brush them away like always.
But i must move forward at a good pace,
And keep it steady.
