Love is like a fire, If you get to close you'll get burned. I never shut out desire, It's your company for wich I yearned. Often imagining us while we talked, You leading me on like I didn't have feelings. If I had only known this was your plan, I would have pursued the other man. You talk of more than friendship and then confusion, Maybe our love was just an illusion. Don't blame me for taking offense, I don't blame you for putting up a defense. Even though I know your hearts not made of stone, Because of this, I'm All Alone |
