Lover lay me down to sleep,
I pray to,
My soul to keep,
If should die before I wake,
I give to you my soul to take.
Stay with me while I Sleep,
Pray with me when I am weak.

Lover lay me down to sleep,
Promise me your soul to keep.
If you should die before you wake,
I will take with me your heart to keep.
I shall stay with you when you are weak,
I will watch you when you sleep.

Lover lay me down to sleep,
Lover come lay down next to me.
Together we will be, Together we will dream,
Together here you and me.

Lover Come Be With Me
