I remind myself
It's all in me.
Seeing the future
Of simplicity.
Days of darkness,
Engulfed with flames.
Faithful watchers
Point and blame.
Tales of fiction
Escape my mouth.
Once locked in mind,
Now wander about.
The clock is ticking,
Yet on i hear.
Deafened by the noise,
Weakened by a tear.

wow--- I like the choice of words... and I know it's really hard sometimes to make a rhythm work with such short lines... you did it very well! ::smiles::
