Whatever did happen to us How could you ever leave me in the dust I was willing to give you my love and trust Because no matter what I must Fail no more in your love Hoping that I could rise above My heart of blood leaves a long trail The new wind will never find my sail I will never move on Until the day we are both gone This is a very long time Is fully loving me such a crime What is so wrong Must i sing the sad song In the midst of your love That you say should not be mine I sit and I cry To know that i try And give it my all For the only thing i'll ever need Hoping that I'll succeed knowing that I should fail I'll never give up I will always pursue Hoping that you will always know That there will be no end, so I will always love you |

This poem is very sweet, it tugs at the heartstrings.... ------------------ Thinking is just what a great many people think they are doing when they are merely rearranging their predjudices. |

This is a beautiful poem. I can relate to the doing anything for love, anything that does not violate my personal believes. There is a time when you have to let go for your own welfare, even if you do not want to, when love is not returned. |
