Actually, though it seems like just a lot of poems together, it's not meant to be that way. =) One poem; different 'chapters'. Winter Wolf I: Fell Winter's breath, cold against mine flying over empty fields, barren of life screeching loss, whispering sorrow Standing high, lowly sunk, feelings felt sighs sighed tears shed She waited, watched, hoped, fell, waited Cycle after cycle, repeated and felt again live, die empty, full light, dark Twisting, whirling, she fell endlessly Fell for laughter Fell for being One Fell for love Fell for him II: Touches Coldness spread, drained, and ached O the pain to be felt! Winter's kiss touched her lips O the sweetness Winter's touch on her heart O the tenderness Winter's embrace holding her still O the ease Breeze's caress soothing her skin Star's song hum lull peace She sleeps Wispy fingers linger familiar fire lights Entwined, twisting, and loving Winter's touch his own She hoped, wished, and woke image implanted wishes disappearing alone III: Otherworld If I had one wish this starry night a world of for us a love would be born a smile would be shown a kiss would be mine a heart would be given Words pass, wishes breathed, we forget you smile, I soar you laugh, I dream you say my name, I love you watch another, I break I wish for a world of our own so I could love you so we could be together so you could love me IV: You If I had one dream to be dreamt this starry night grants If I had a wish given to be blessed by you to me If I had one jewel like a star glittering If I had a single breath warm, loving, soft: a flower's kiss If I had you love would be one word Always If I had everything in the world I would only want you V: Spring Winter's touch fleeting bite Winter's kiss painful void Winter's embrace suffocating I know Like tamed wolf, turning sudden affliction given Like mighty sword double edged woe into the heart Like breathing one breath long lasting, mournful, empty Like wishing for treasure only to be in poverty Like dreaming of you waking alone Yet there is warmth The sun rises and I watch coldness is replaced Flowers bloom under such gentle caress a seed is planted Babies sleep peacefully innocence I know Waking with the thought of you bliss knowing that I have love Birds sing, bells ring laughter escapes Merry-making a-flurry my heart dances with them For Winter's wolf, wild, fierce like a dagger Cannot last when the sun shines And I live again for I know this secret: As Winter's wolf roams it fears but warmth as Nature reaches out with kindness as Time moves on needless as Hope urges as the whole world wakens Comes Spring ------------------ "Sometimes stars can only be seen in darkness" |

This is really nice......you have a way with words and images. ------------------ Thinking is just what a great many people think they are doing when they are merely rearranging their predjudices. |
