here is a poem I wrote a few months before a friend of mine committed suicide. I never got the chance to give it to him. But if anyone out there needs someone I am hear. I am a good listener and want to help. Please reply to me!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I know you're hurting. Why won't you let me help? I'm here for you. I'll do everything in my power to make things better. You just have to open up to me. It'll be okay. I care so much about you. I need a chance, I'll be here. Can't you see I'm here for you? I will help you. All you have to do is talk. I'll be here forever for you. No matter how our future goes. I'm always here. Just give me a call, or a note. I'll be right there. Waiting to hold you when you get there. You mean so much to me. My hand is here waiting for yours. You can do it. |

My best friend Helped me out of commiting sucide...at age 10! I think thats why we are such good friends... I can already tell you are a great friend Well .. Keep up the good work! LATERZ! |

That is so sad. I am truly sorry you lost a friend, but I'm glad you are such a great friend to everyone if your personality matches your writing. Suicide is such a big problem lately! I don't think there is one person here that has not thought about or actually attempted it! It's awful... I wish there was some way to fix it.... and people like you who are willing to listen are the 1st step to fixing it. Very good poem....!
