How I wonder why it had to be this way Forever in my life, I wanted you to stay Everyday I wake up, tears in my eyes, still loving you Hoping and praying that you'd feel the same way for me too I dream of the things, with you, I could have done Being together, forever with you, just having fun You're the first one I ever loved, that I could honestly say Didn't know what to do then for I really haven't felt that way I'm still thinking of what I did wrong and why we fell apart Though I lied to you and made you cry right from the start I know I made a lot of mistakes that probably made you mad Believe me, one thing I'd never intentionally do is make you sad Now all I have is a broken heart filled with loneliness My life is nothing without you, I'm all torn into pieces Though it's hard having this feeling of uncertainty I just can't move on cause it's gonna be really hard for me Being a fool, waiting forever, that I know I should do For the only thing that matters to me now is to be with you Everyday I pray you'd come back in my life, though it's very unlikely Please try to understand, loving you is all that means to me [This message has been edited by acire (edited 06-10-2000).] |

Hey my dear, I felt the same way after my ex and IU broke up. While I can't say you ever truly stop missing them, the pain eventually does just die down to a dull ache. Not very optimistic, I know  ) *shrugs* tis life I guess!!Crystal "The worst of what people do to one another is deceive. Because when you love someone you control their version of reality. If you lie to them that's like making them autistic so that what they believe is reality is in fact, not their true situation at all." It's not the angry words that break the heart, it's the silence. Someone said that true love is like a ghost -- often spoke of but never seen. I've seen both and yet in my darkest hours, tend to believe that neither exits. |

Hey hun! Well it looks as though you and I have been down this same bath before, but then again- who hasn't? This road of so called "love" is hard, I know. You get so tired of going to bed crying, waking up crying, and walking around all day with an immense feeling of pain, heartache, and lonleyness. This poem describes what you go through and the feelings sooooo well!!! And hey, sooner than later the pain and bitterness do go away. Good work!! I'll look for more of your postings!!
