I wrote this one day when I was looking out my bedroom window, into the cleaar day. Natural, free power, Creates one more flower, In a bed a righteousness, And freedom. Forest full of trees, Oxygen from their leaves, Make our air clear, Of pollution and CO2. Famines and death, People's one last breath, Before their life is taken, From their human shells. Look inside your heart, And start to play the part, Of who you are, And what you believe in. Recognise how you feel, Knowing it's all real, From murder and bloodshed, To the creation of life and love. ¤XTC AngeL¤ |

I can almost feel the sunlight on my back when I read this, I can't really explain why. An incredible mix of "nature poem" and something more meaningful and inspirational. I love it! -Matchstick |

good poem, i like the way that it moves you to try to change the world, it shows the darkside of the world and urges the reader to do something to do about it always follow your heart, never follow others unless it is truely where you want to go, and never give up a dream, maybe just set it aside...:) |
