A young girl
decieved and betrayed.
He told her things that were not meant,
He told her things that made her hurt.
She knew she loved him,
she thought he knew.
Things were said that were not true.
Stripped from her innocence,
she is now left cold,
only to her best friend have these things been told.
Now a young girl with an empty heart-
yearning for the one she loved the most
hoping it was a really big joke.
She was left not knowing what to do,
what to think,
or who to turn to.
They used to talk everyday,
now in the halls there is nothing to say, jus an exchange of really bad looks,
like reading a stack of extremely bad books.
A young innocent girl left all alone,
her heart an immense lump of stone,
all he did was use her,
now he is going to lose her.
A young girl,
not so young anymore.

Wow....first let me say welcome to passions. This is a great poem you have here and it's really beautiful to be able to write about something not so related to you, but to the many girls who are used and abused and then left to figure all out for themselves. I loved it

Welcome to Passions.

Unfortunately this happens all to often to young girls. Far to many young men see love as a game and not as something special and we lose out innocence far to quickly. Just remember that there are many fine young men out there who do truely care about your feelings.

When you are old and grey and full of sleep,
And nodding by the fire, take down this book,
And slowly read, and dream of the soft look
Your eyes had once, and of their shodows deep;

How many loved your moments of glad grace,
And loved your beauty with love false or true,
But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you,
And loved the sorrows of your changing face...
